Search Engine Optimization appears to be daunting to many site owners, and there certainly many factors to take into consideration when you put it into practice. You read one opinion, then find another which is different. But for Google optimization, what is Page Rank anyway?
We would all like to have a high PR rank of 5 or better. That’s simply a ranking of some 100 factors as determined by Google. But a high PR doesn’t guarantee you will get high traffic.
One benefit a high PR ranking will give you is a better chance to get quality exchanged links. However the type of links Google reads isn’t a big factor.
What does matter is the quality of the content on your site. After all, that’s why other sites want to link to you in the first place. And that does matter to Google.
